Lenovo G400 notebook Vista Problem
https://lenovo-blog.blogspot.com/2008/05/lenovo-g400-notebook-vista-problem.html
Dear Sir,
I've just bought a Lenovo G400 notebook and installed the Windows Vista on
it. Basically I don't have any problem with vista and can use it perfectly
with the notebook. My question is, there is a CD Vista driver on the package
with this notebook, but what is actually the purpose of this driver? Do I
have to install this all Vista driver even though there is no problem with
my Vista (I can hear sound without installing the sound driver...etc)?
Is there any disadvantages if I don't install these drivers.
Thanks for your information.

Though you have everything working fine, one day you may need some specific
functions, that can be recieved only by specific driver-associated software.
For example some audio features.
It's up to you whether to download all the drivers for your model or to live
without them.
If you find something not working - download drivers and install.
But I recommend you to download them all beforehand and also recommend to
install all of them.
Good for you.
